COLLIN HALL – SRAS EDUCATOR
Collin has always had a passion working with youth. He is from Anderson, SC and has worked with youth in many different churches and various events. Collin believes that sex establishes a covenant between husband and wife and outside of the context of marriage sex can be harmful. He desires to share the benefits of how healthy practicing abstinence until marriage can be, as well as expose the damaging effects that premarital sex can have. He is passionate about pointing students in a direction that helps them overcome the obstacles of life and make healthy decisions to lead them into a flourishing future.
“In a culture in which premarital sex is constantly displayed as an activity used for pleasure, profit, or influence, we must educate the next generation that there is only one way to enjoy the benefits of sex safely, and that is within the commitment of marriage.” -Collin
Collin earned an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from North Greenville University and now lives in Duncan, South Carolina with his wife and two sons. He loves music, video production, discussing the Bible, and most of all Jesus
ADELAIDE DICKENS – SRAS EDUCATOR
Adelaide is passionate about empowering youth to make the best decision for their relationships and personal well-being by teaching them the truth about the value of sex and the importance of keeping it within the covenant of marriage. She believes it is vital to not shy away from the tough conversations with youth so they don’t absorb false messages about sex from social media and culture. She affirms that with the right, age-appropriate conversations, they can strengthen their “immunity”, so to speak, to lies and misinformation perpetuated by a culture that treats sex casually and live free from the consequences of premarital sex.
“I look forward to having conversations with students to help them understand what sex is and that it has a purpose to be enjoyed between one husband and wife. I want them to be able to choose abstinence for themselves from a place of knowledge and confidence rather than wrestling with the fear and shame that can come from a lack of knowledge or false messages.”
Adelaide earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from North Greenville University. She now lives in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. She enjoys dancing, crocheting, cooking, and spending time in nature in her free time as well as volunteering with her local church.
